Centralized Scheduler,SchedulingDepartment
Job Type:full-time,DayShift

Performs a range of clerical duties related to the support of operations of the unit including updating and organizing information on the unit; coordinating work within the unit and with other units and departments; reporting relevant information to the supervisor; and responding to inquiries and requests from patients,visitorsand caregivers.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
* Develops,maintains, and coordinates daily outpatient schedule with physician offices and clinical manager to ensure patient flow
* Facilitates communications among caregivers,patientsand visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
* Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
* Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions tomaintaininventory levels.
* Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
* Faxes andphotocopiesinformation as requested by staff.

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience is required
